Tetricus was the last of the Gallic emperors, ruling in Britain and Gaul after the death of Victorinus. His forces were defeated by those of Aurelian, but there is some question as to how resolute his opposition was. Aurelian eventually pardoned him, allowing him to live quietly in Italy for the rest of his life. Return |
