Vetranio

After the death of Constans, Vetranio, after the urging of Constans sister, Constantia, had himself declared emperor, mainly to keep his troops from going over to the side of the usurper Magnentius. When the emperor Constantius II finally caught up with Vetranio, Vetranio turned his troops over to the him, who rewarded Vetranio by letting him retire in comfort.
